The Lemon Festival (Giorti tis Lemonias)  this year runs from July 24 through August 3 and includes an exhibition of paintings and dolls by local artists Chrysoula Lazari, Alkiviadis Konstas, and Despina Tsapara at the Syngrou building, an evening of readings from books about Poros on July 28, vocalist Andreas Lafis performing songs from the Greek new wave on July 30, a performance of traditional dances by the NOPT dance section, soprano Katerina Economou and pianist Emmanuil Trapalis in a recital titled “From Schubert to Hatzidakis” on August 1, traditional dances and music by the NOPT troupe and the Syntonon band on August 2, and a vocal concert by the Poriotissa Chorale on August 3.
All events are being held at the Syngrou building and start at 9 pm.
