Barter Bazaar This Weekend

All trades are fair trades at the kalaureio exchange organized November 17-18 by the Kalaureio Barter & Solidarity Initiative in the former post office on the ground floor of town hall.
The exchange is a trade bazaar where members can meet and exchange goods and services whose value is calculated in the alternative barter currency named ‘kalaureio’ after the ancient site of Kalaureia and larger of the two islands that make up Poros.
The initiative was launched earlier this year by the Poros Residents and Consumers’ Association as an informal credit mechanism for exchanging goods or services. Only members can trade items or tasks at the bazaar (or through the ‘classifieds’ on the Initiative’s blog, ) but membership is free and you can sign up at the bazaar.
Bazaar hours are Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
